What is Salmon Strong?

Salmon Strong’s mission is to promote the health, safety, and future of the Salish Sea’s Native American youth and salmon through engagement with science and indigenous ways of knowing.

About Us Salmon strong is an interactive and science community based organization designed to bring urban and local native youth and families into the research and preservation of our local salmon nations and urban waterways.

Students will engage with monthly learning opportunities culminating in a sustainable solution to a current salmon threat.

Local mentors, teachers, and guides to help students explore the complex sciences and politics that impact salmon health so they can make a difference.
